I am finding that looking forward to gaining 1,000 members on the Happy Living Facebook page is turning to be a very steep climb. I wonder why that is. I discovered after passing 500 fans, the climb became somewhat effortless and every day the page gained on average seven people a day.
From its humble beginnings to see it growing from four members, to 10, 20, 30 to more each week was terrific. It began to pick up momentum when other established Facebook pages started "liking" my page! These pages had thousands of fans in their ranks. I was thrilled they would endorsed it without my probing. Their action drew their members to "like" the page in return, boosting my numbers.
I watched two new pages hurriedly befriend all the possible pages they could befriend and post their new page on theirs. Their numbers climbed like wildfire, but I personally don't recommend it, I think it is a form of stealing attention in order to get people to like their pages. Although successful, it is not how I do it. I simply say *Thank You* for liking my page and give them a compliment on theirs.

Although I have posted my fan page on my regular Facebook page to call attention to it, my method is simple, my little page has gained fans gradually and in a logical manner. Racking up numbers is not the point. I desire willing participants to search for happiness, they will find me there.
P.S. One joyful point to share was achieving 911 fans and maintaining it for 24 hours until it changed. I posted that having 911 members made me feel like an Emergency Facebook page. People loved the remark. ~ I suppose the next exciting number will be 999 where one more fan could make a big difference, or perhaps it might never get that high... Only time will tell, but either way, I'm very happy to have entered the 900 Club this week.
