A Birthday Wish

One candle signifies the many I should put on my birthday cake tomorrow, but who is counting, right? Not me!

People say that your memory goes the older you get. In my mid-thirties that awful occurrence happened (I will never forget it now) when I forgot my own birthday! A busy life, I guess...

This time I will remember it very well  because buying a house on your birthday month is unique! What can I say, I have a husband that goes out of his way to please.

My mother-in-law usually surprises me with a bouquet of Peruvian Lilies and don't know if that will be the case tomorrow, but she sent me a homemade birthday card with a handsome check with instructions to spend it all on myself. Adding to the fabulous occurrences, will be the "after-birthday" trip the following week that my beautiful daughter invited me to: A week at Grand Bahama Island!

As I softly blow out the candle on Sunday, my wish will be for my life to continue to be blessed and happy, as it has been for many years.
...I cannot wait to order a few Bahama Mamas!... ~ Toodles!
